Pesticide Use Exemptions
FIFRA Section 18 Emergency Exemptions and
Section 24(c), Special Local Need
Access electronic copies of these special labels. Applicators must have copies of these labels in their possession for legal use.
Sect 18 - Authorized by EPA to allow States to use a pesticide for an unregistered use for a limited time when EPA determines that emergency conditions exist.
Sect 24(c) provides for registration of a pesticide product as a Special Local Need (SLN).
