Soybean Aphid and Spider Mite Situations in Region
Soybean aphid populations are gradually increasing throughout NW MN. Similar increases are being noted in ND. Many of you are monitoring fields now, and should continue to do so as we reach this critical time of the season.

Time to Scout  for Banded Sunflower Moth
Banded sunflower moths are flying in the region. A network of pheromone traps in North Dakota, Manitoba, and NW Minnesota began catching moths in large numbers in late July.
